Keepstone legal
Terms of Service
The terms under which Odyssey Developments LLC provides Keepstone to a customer organization.
Agreement
These terms govern the customer organization's (“Customer”) use of Keepstone, including its Remoat remote-access module, provided by Odyssey Developments LLC (“Odyssey”). Where Customer and Odyssey have signed a separate master agreement or order form, that agreement prevails over these terms in a conflict.
Effective date: [Effective date — set when counsel approves].
The service
Keepstone is a business tool for IT teams: ticketing, device inventory, asset custody and, optionally, remote access. Each Customer runs in its own deployment with its own database and sign-in tenant. Odyssey does not use one Customer's data to serve another.
Optional integrations (for example Microsoft 365 mail) are enabled only when Customer configures them with its own credentials.
Accounts and access
Customer decides who may use the service and designates a Head Admin who adds and removes administrators. Customer is responsible for the activity under its accounts and for keeping credentials confidential. Sharing a sign-in is not allowed.
Customer data
Customer owns its data. Customer grants Odyssey the limited right to host, process and back up that data solely to provide, secure and support the service. Odyssey's handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Subprocessors page.
Acceptable use
Customer and its users must follow the Acceptable Use policy. Odyssey may suspend access that threatens the security or stability of the service, and will tell Customer when it does so, where practicable.
Intellectual property
Keepstone, Remoat, their software, documentation, names and logos belong to Odyssey Developments LLC or its licensors. Customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the term. No other rights are granted. “Keepstone” and “Remoat” are unregistered marks of Odyssey Developments LLC.
